TBZ Christmas lights spectacular
Let's see, it's more than halfway through January, so I guess now is a good time to talk about Christmas!
We have heard about Turtleback Zoo doing a free Christmas Lights showcase. We decided to bundle up one night and head up to the zoo to check it out. We went on this particular night because Anna, Elsa and Sven from Frozen were going to be there and all of my children are still obsessed with the movie, we thought it would we great to go so we could get pictures with them.
Yeah, right! We get in line and are told that it's an hour wait and they weren't taking anymore people after the people in front of us in line. Figures. I wasn't happy. We did get to go up and at least catch a glimpse, so that was something.
It was freezing. Like, too cold. And it was late, so the kids were tired and cold and really cranky, so we stayed maybe an hour. But we had so much fun and got some pics to share. I think we will probably try and go every year, because it really was nice, we just have to go earlier in the night and wear more layers!!!
