Oh...hey. It's March.
So, it's happened...just around the time where I've seemingly forgotten that I have a blog for the kids, the kids FOUND the blog and LOVE to read it. So, I can't forget about this anymore. Hello Jack. Hello Emma. You have NO IDEA how long I've waited for you to start reading this. I'm terrible at "baby books" and all of that artsy-fartsy crafty stuff. But I can write! And I love to write about you little people who have changed my life so profoundly.
So, today, I vow to try much harder to keep this semi-up-to-date.
Here is a brief March update:
In March 2018, we had our very first power outage! A winter storm rolled through and knocked all of our power out for nearly 3 days. You all handled it like champs, though, and I'm so grateful for it.
Jack, you're trucking along with school. You're actually doing more than just trucking, you're doing quite well. You're settling into a nice rhythm and you're doing the absolute best you can and that's all I will ever ask from you. Also, you're getting so big. Ugh.
Emma made her first reconciliation! Em, I love that you took it so seriously and were so nervous. You rocked it, though and I'm just so proud of you. Next stop is First Communion!
Sara, you got GLASSES! We had our suspicions that you may have needed them. You were REALLY happy to get them, but then once you got them, you hated them. You've gotten used to them a bit more, now, but I still have to remind you to put them on.
Alex, oh Alex. You lost your second tooth and have stopped freaking out when it's time to go to school. You also don't cry anymore when you see me at your school during lunch. To say that I'm most pleased with this progress would be an understatement.
March in pictures, so far....
