Sara-9 months

So, the baby is 9 months.  I told her to cut this "growing up" thing out, but she doesn't listen.

I took her to the docs for a 9 month visit and her stats are as follows:

25.1 pounds (98%)
28 inches long (75%)

I still have to check back to see where the other kids were at this age, but I'm pretty certain that she is the biggest.  I laugh because she was my tiniest at birth, and now, well now, she's not so tiny.

Here is what Sara is up to, these days:

Still sleeping through the night.
Her nap schedule has changed a bit and she's napping at longer clips in the morning (we are talking a 3-4 sometimes 5 ?!?!?! hour long nap)
She's eating roughly 22 ounces of formula a day.  (Not a lot, so please don't tell me she's over fed, 'Moms who think they know it all' about everyone's child.  Thank you.)
She's a champion "puffs" eater.
She is experimenting with soft solids, now.  She LOVES to have toast (nothing on it) for breakfast.  I've also given her small bits of sweet potato, pears, apples, bananas.  She's still not used to the whole "texture" thing, but she's getting better with it.  Still eats rice cereal/prune juice every morning.
She's not really crawling yet, however, she slithers.  Usually backwards.  But, it gets her to where she needs to be, that's for sure!
She 'dances'.  Her favorite song is "What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger" by Kelly Clarkson.
She claps, and loves to play Pat A Cake.
She loves to stand.
She will sit and play with her toys for longer periods of time, now.
She LOVES her Daddy.  Probably more than she loves me!
But, her favorite person is her brother, Jack.  Emma is a close second.
Her smile is as big as ever and it lights up a room.
She still rules this household, we all kind of go 'gaga' over her.
She makes the cutest "scrunchy" face when she's "complaining".
I've seen her throw a couple of tiny fits when she's frustrated.
She loves her walker, and is getting the hang of it.  She usually goes backwards.
She loves to be outside (and with unseasonable temps for March in NJ, we've been out quite a bit.)
She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES bathtime.  This makes me particularly happy, for she used to SCREAM like I was pulling her toenails out when I would bathe her.  Now, she wants to stay in there forever to play.
She loves to give kisses.
She has her two bottom teeth, and aside from a few extra "scrunchy faces", you would never know she was teething.  Well, I guess the 5 hours long naps may indicate teething, as well.

I can't talk about (or write about) Sara without smiling.  She's perfection.  That's it...perfection.  I love her so much, it hurts.  It's funny, because I've only 'known' her for 9 months, but I can't remember life before her, and certainly can't imagine life without her.

Love YOU, my 'Sara Grace, with the pretty face'...
