Sara Grace-5 months
And she's 5 months old. It's getting harder and harder to come to grips with the fact that my baby is in fact growing up. It's weird how she's only been with us for 5 months, but she's changed our lives so dramatically. She is the Queen of this household. Jack and Emma are obsessed with her. Greg is completely in love with her, and I'm just amazed at everything she does.
Here's a quick rundown of her stats/milestones for 5 months:
She is in 6-9 month clothes, but is quickly growing out of them.
She is in size 4 diapers, but the next time we buy diapers, we will be buying a size 5.
She's decreasing her intake of formula buy almost a full 8 ounces per day.
She gets cereal once, sometimes twice a day.
She's had homemade butternut squash puree. She likes it, so we will start slipping it in there more and more.
She's starting to sit up on her own for VERY short amounts of time.
She still has only rolled one time, yet she's getting closer and closer every day to doing it again.
She loves to laugh, mainly at her big brother.
She has a favorite toy, and when she sees it, her body practically vibrates with excitement.
She's gotten more 'chatty' in the past couple of weeks.
She is getting more used to 'tummy time' and holds her head up a lot longer now.
She's too big for her swing.
She still fits in her bouncy seat and likes to nap in it from time to time.
She still sleeps all night long, 10-12 hours. I have the best sleepers ever.
She LOVES to sit in her high chair.
She is not really napping as long as she used to. She seems to only want to nap on me.
She is seemingly always happy. However, on the off chance she's cranky, she lets you know it!
She loves to stand.
Her smile. Oh, that smile! It lights up the room!
Sara, we all love you so much! Jack and Emma light up with they see you. They often try to see which one of them can make you smile or laugh first. You are truly a Daddy's girl, that man is wrapped so tight around your little fingers. Actually...I think we all may be.
Love you, Sara Grace.
