Sara-8 months

8 months?  Really?  How did that happen?  I seriously remember June 10th like it was yesterday.

8 month stats:

• Not sure of weight, probably 25 pounds.  And she's looooong.  We will have official measurements next month
• Still in size 5 diapers
• In 12 month clothing-some 18 month stuff, too
• Still sleeps through the night, however, she does wake up crying sometimes if her pacifier falls out of her mouth.  Thankfully, she falls right back to sleep!
• She rolls over on a regular basis now. 
• She gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth...and then pushes herself backwards.  
• Her favorite position is sitting.  She is SO happy when she sits on the floor or on the couch.
• Slowly but surely (I'm totally going to jinx myself) I'm getting her to nap longer in her crib, as opposed to on me.  I remember sitting with a sleeping Jack for 3 hours at a clip.  I could do that with one kid, but now, it's not possible.  So, here's to hoping she will be napping full-time in her crib VERY soon.
• I stopped her rice cereal for a bit, because she wasn't crazy about it.  Now, she gets it again every day, mixed with prune juice, and she LOVES it.  
• She has no teeth.  None.  But, I swear they are coming.  (That's what I said with Jack, however, he didn't have anything until 15 months...so we will see.)

So, I would say she's progressing rather nicely.  It's hard not to compare her to the other two, but I will.  Jack wasn't crawling at 8 months, but Emma was...Emma was actually standing at this point.   Another thing that makes me laugh, is that Emma was SOOOO tiny, that Sara is now wearing the clothes that Em was wearing at 18-24 months.  It's just funny to see these clothes on Sara, knowing that I kind of JUST put them away.

Sara and Jack are so great together.
