Summer is rapidly approaching...
...and I have no clue what I'm going to do with 4 kids all day, every day.
I'm used to having the three at home, and I dare say I FINALLY have that under control. Maybe under control isn't the correct term, maybe, but to say 'I'm finally not crying in a corner in fetal position' is a tad bit dramatic, no matter how true.
We are not able to do a lot over the summer, as far as actual activities. So, I was thinking that maybe we would do a tour of the parks in Somerset County. At the end of our tour, I'd have the kids compare and pick their favorite. That sounds like fun, I guess. I'm trying to keep Jack in/get Emma in school mode, hence the comparing. I may even have them do a project about it.
But other than the park thing, I'm at a loss. Sure, we have the backyard, which is WONDERFUL, and we recently purchased a small (see: cheap) pool that will serve it's purpose, BUT, I want to figure something else out. The words, "I'm bored" fly around this house way too quickly.
So, my loyal readers, I ask...what kind of things should I try with the kids this summer? Any suggestions?
