Alex-11 months
For crap's sake, these updates seem to come quicker and quicker. ALEX?!?!?!? 11 MONTHS?!?! How could this be true? Alex, I remember the day you were born like it was YESTERDAY, and BOOOM, now you're 11 months. I can't take it. You've been busy lately...very busy.
- You are in size 18 month clothes.
- You wear size 6 diapers during the day...and at night time you were a size 7. 7. SEVEN. What happens after 7??? Jack was in a size 7 right before he was potty trained at almost 3. Emma never got out of a size 4. Sara is still firmly in a 6. You, my friend, are a BIG BOY.
- You have been having half-formula/half milk bottles for a couple of weeks now. You love it, and it's been an easy transition.
- Your skin is breaking out more often now, and you've not had any perceived triggery foods, so now I'm convinced it's environmental?
- You just got over your first stomach bug. You handled it SO well.
- You walk now! You started taking steps about 6 weeks ago. It progressed very quickly!! You are walking 75%-80% of the time. You are officially my earliest walker! You beat out Emma by 2 weeks or so. You December babies! You're so much alike, it's scary.
- You say Dada, Mama, Baba, and...poop. Yup, Poop.
- You are FUNNY. You love to laugh, and your personality is hilarious.
- Sleep has been a tiny issue, but I will chalk it up to the fact that you have molars coming in. But, you still sleep 10-11 hours a night, so really, I'm not complaining.
- You DO NOT like to be held for too long. You are also not very cuddly (at least not compared to your 3 siblings, who are cuddle monsters) so any cuddles that I get from you, I cherish!
- You rarely sit still, you love to go go go .
- You are obsessed with Daddy. OBSESSED.
- Your siblings make you smile so big. Jack can make you laugh so hard.
My boy. My Bub. My Mayor. My Papa Smurf. My Fred. Yes, all of those people are YOU, Alex Michael. You are such a joy. You are my bright light. You make me smile when I'm having a terrible day. I love my girls more than life, but there is just something about a Momma and her sons. Whatever that something is, I love it, I cherish it, and I'm thankful I get to experience it times 2.
Happy 11 month, Ally-Boo. I can't believe that my next update on you will be your *gulp* ONE YEAR. AHHHHHH!!!!!
