7 years?!
So, Jack...somehow you're (almost) 7. I would refuse to believe such nonsense but the evidence is there. It was 7 years ago at this moment that I was in the hospital, laboring hard, waiting to see you for the first time. I had to wait until 3 am on 7/8/07, but that first glimpse is something that I will never forget. Honestly, if I close my eyes, I can actually remember that exact moment of my life...the moment I became a Mommy... your Mommy... the moment my world changed forever.
You have turned into such a 'dude'. You are such a sweet soul. You're loving and you love to cuddle. Your favorite thing to do is color. You also love to read. You are starting to help more around the house by doing your chores. You love to swim! You are so sensitive and your feelings get hurt very easily. You are a wonderful big brother. Your siblings look up to you and you are (usually) very loving and helpful towards them. You love TV and to DANCE!
You just lost your first tooth! You've grown so tall. You aren't a baby anymore, that's for sure. Well, let me clarify, you are still MY baby, just in the form of a 7 year old. MY 7 year old.
Jack, from the moment I first saw you, I loved you. The same way I love you today and will love you for the rest of my days.
You are my joy, my boy and you will always be.
Happy birthday, Jackaboo. I love you more than you will ever know.
