Summer 2016 Picture Explosion Part One (June/July edition)

In effort to catch up (which will TRULY never happen, because I'm so far behind, it's embarrasing) I'm going to do a quick picture drop.  This summer was fast and furious and not that eventful, but we DID manage to get some super fun stuff in and I couldn't be more thrilled for the memories that we've created.  Also, I should be tackling my 'to-do' list, which "Update the Kid's Blog" is not currently on, but this is decidedly more fun than folding and putting away laundry.

Photoshoot at Stewarts.  Photoshoots happen everywhere, if you haven't noticed.

Sass is quite dramatic with her sleeping poses

That sleep didn't last long.  It was July 3rd and there were fireworks and tears...the headphones helped.

On the 4th of July, in front of the library

We were there to help Daddy put up this molding.  Child and Mommy labor, FTW.

The kids declared it too hot outside on this particular day, so they had an indoor lounging session.

Which turned into dress up.  Batman Captain Jake Alex says, "I'm SO strong!"

Naptime for my youngest 3

A visit to Sucky Cheese

Franklin Fireworks!

When your friends love your kids, they hold their ears for them so they don't freak out at the fireworks.

Em learned to make breakfast this summer

She was very happy about this development

US!  Date night!

My strong boys heading down the shore to spend the day with Daddy, the girls, Grandma and Grandpa, aunts, uncles and cousins.   One of their favorite days this summer.  I'll talk about this more in a separate post.

Jack had his snaggle tooth pulled.  He was insanely nervous, if you couldn't tell from the pic.

The hair trial for Unkanee and Aunt Jesse's wedding.  We had many of these and her hair just doesn't curl.  Oh well.

More Sassy dramatic sleeping.

This is how Alex gets himself a drink of water.

We DID read this summer.

This is how Alex gets stung by a bee and falls asleep #becauseBenedryl.  We did discover a few things this night:  Bees live in the railroad ties by Hi-Tams Ice Cream Store, Alex is NOT allergic to bee stings, but boy, oh, boy can he CRY.

The BirthAVersary cakes for Mom and Mom/Dad

This day was a no technology day, so they were "forced" to be creative and Emma did zombie makeup on all of them.  I was impressed and maybe slightly afraid...

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, boy

Doing the Boardwalk!

So that was the first post of a couple,  I hope you enjoy the pics.
