Mommy Dollars and Potty Training

Last post, I mentioned the beginning of the "Mommy Dollar" system.   Well, so far, so good.  Well, kind of.  Only 1 time so far, has someone gotten to the goal of 4 "MD"'s and gotten a prize, and that was Jack.  It's not that they aren't getting them, because they are...it's just that they get them taken away just as quick.  I will say that when i do take one away, they do get VERY upset, so I'm thinking maybe they are understanding the concept.  We just have to keep at it.

Emma decided for a week that she wanted to pee on the potty.  I had no intention to potty train her until the beginning of next year, but I figured since she was initiating it, I'd play along.  Well, it's been 2 weeks now, and I think it's safe to say that this is it.  She's got peeing pretty much down pat.  She's had all of 2 accidents since she's been training.  Pooping, however, different story.  She turns psycho when she has to 'go' and screams and cries.  I figured I'd put a pull-up or a diaper on her so she could just 'go'.  Nope, she freaks out even more.  She's is the most conflicted child I've ever seen...and the stubborness?  It makes me insane.  it's so frustrating; I'm sure just as much for her as it is me.  Something's got to give.  But, we are trucking along.  And 2 pull ups a day as opposed to 6 diaper changes?  Makes me super happy.  I'm proud of her.
