Sara Grace-4 months
Sara, my littlest pride and joy, had her 4 month check up today. Here are her stats:
She's 18 pounds, 1 ounce. (For the record, Jack was 17.7 and Emma was 14.10 at 4 months.) Her weight is in the 97th percentile.
She's 25.5 inches long. (Jack was 25.75 and Emma was 24.) Her height is in the 95th percentile.
Long story short, I am currently the mother of a preschooler, a toddler, and a chunky monkey. I can't get over the fact that she's nearly tripled her birthweight. The smallest of my babies has quickly become the biggest of my babies!
Here are some of her 4 month milestones:
She sleeps 10-12 hours a night.
She's OBSESSED with pacifiers, now.
She still takes 2-3 naps a day, with one LONG nap in the afternoon.
She eats 32 ounces of formula a day, still on the sensitive formula.
Still needs Mylicon every day.
Wearing a size 3 diaper during the day, and size 4 at night. (Her and Emma share size 4's)
She reaches out and grabs for toys, hands, and mommy's hair and earrings!
She lights up when her brother and sister so much as look in her general direction.
Still no rolling. (But she's getting VERY close.)
She has only cried tears once, and that was when she had an ear infection.
She loves to sit in her bumbo seat, and her excersaucer.
She's outgrowing her swing very rapidly.
She's in 3-6 month clothing, some of it is still too big, yet some things are too small.
She LOVES to be tickled!
She loves to stand.
She HATES tummy time, but still exclusively sleeps on her tummy.
She's very loud!
She's now sleeping in the crib in the kid's room.
She is truly a Daddy's girl.
Sara, it's been such a pleasure getting to know you over these months. I feel like you've been here forever, all while feeling like time has flown by so quickly. How does that happen? You are a joy. You light up a room with your smile, and you truly are the queen of this house. Thank you for being you, for you make me smile.
I love you , third little bird.
