Jack's report card
Never, in a million years, did I think Jack would receive a report card for Pre-K. It's Pre-K, for crap's sake!
However, Friday, I received a brown envelope with the words "REPORT CARD" written on it, taped shut. So official. The grading was weird, but, it's Pre-K. If I were to compare it to a regular report card, M/E (meets expectations) would be an A. P (progressing towards meeting expectations) would be B and D (developing towards meeting expectations) would be a C. Well, I'm please to announce that my boy genius received mostly M/Es and P's. Yes, that's A's and B's.
Congratulations, Jack, you're ALREADY a better student than I was.
I do have to say that I'm so proud of who he is becoming.

"My" 4th grader in Somerset got the same kind of report card last year and it confused the hell out of me!
