Bye-bye bottles!!!
Baby #3 is bottle free!!
At SGB's last checkup, the pediatrician told me to stop Sara's bottles. Nope. Not listening to you, weirdo doctor! However, as the months have gone by, I've decided to give it a shot. Took some time, and lots of patience, but she's been morning bottle free for about a month and a half. She hated it at first, apparently milk tastes different coming out of a sippy cup, but she really got the hang of it.
In effort to get all 3 on the same sleeping schedule, I decided to change up the bedtime routine. Normally, J and E would go to bed first, and we'd put S down after her bottle. Well, we changed it up, get them ready at the same time, give S her sippy of milk, and in bed at the same time. The first night of this (Monday) wasn't pretty. However, imagine our delight when the unhappiness only lasted 5 minutes, then everyone was OUT. SWEET!! Night two, less unhappiness (maybe 2 minutes of whining) and all 3 were in bed, QUIET by 7:41pm. Really??
So, dare I say? No more bottles for Sassafrass? She's so easy going and so chill and just goes with the flow. She's so cool. The perfect 3rd child.
So...now we work on walking....as long as she does it before #4 gets here, we're good!
