Goos and Matchbox

Very rarely do Greg and I get to go out alone.  Usually, it's reserved for birthdays and anniversaries.  Well, this past week, we went out TWICE without the kids.  I know--crazy!!  We went out to dinner this past THursday night to one of our favorite places--The Melting Pot.  After we gorged ourselves silly, we took a 2 mile walk in the park...I guess we felt the need to try and walk some of that food off.  It was a nice night.  Special shout out to the Dees (Aunt and Uncle) for watching the brood.

The following night, we went to see The Goo Goo Dolls and Matchbox 20 at PNC (with The Dees and Unco and Aunt Laur).  I've loved the Goo Goo dolls for years.  The remain one of my favorite bands.  I always thought that Matchbox was 'just okay', but let me say that I left the concert a HUGE fan of theirs.  Their set was amazing.  Their performance was electric.  I'm a HUGE fan of live music, and they put on a clinic on how to make it look easy and fun.

Me and my Love--I can't believe we've been together 10 years this year (married for 8)

The crowd at PNC

Oh, so I broke my toe.  Yeah.  I know.  The good thing that came out of it?  Close parking to the venue!

The sky was AMAZING as the sun set.

We had such a great time.  I love concerts, and live music.  There is nothing like it.
