Alex-10 months

Double digits?  I'm none too pleased.  All of the begging and pleading for you to SLOW DOWN, Mr. Alex, and you are already 10 months? I just don't understand how this happened.  You've been quite busy from 9 months to 10 months, haven't you?

• I don't know the weight or the length, we will have to wait until his 1 year (sniffle) visit.
• You are in-between 12 month and 18 month clothes.
• You just started standing independently, and now you are getting daring and trying to take some steps.  No.  Just...no.
• You hate to be held for too long, as you'd rather just crawl and stand and try and walk. 
• You are a huge fan of your siblings.  
• You LOVE your Daddy and love to be held by him.
• You are a Mommy's boy, though, through and through.
• Diaper changes are a BATTLE, and getting you dressed is usually my workout for the day.
• Your face has been clear for weeks.  However, you are currently in the middle of a bad breakout, and I'm not sure why.  I DID re-introduce sweet potatoes (a triggery food for him) and you didn't react.  You broke out 2 days later, though.  Do I blame the sweet potatoes?  Every other food you've had are things you've had without reacting.  I'm kind of at a loss, and I'm very confused. My other thought is that it's weather related?  It's been colder and all of the other kids developed eczema at your age in the colder weather, and you do have it on your legs now, as well.  I just don't know.  You don't seem to mind it much, so it's probably bothering me more than it's bothering you.
• You give the best kisses!
• You hold your own bottle now, and you actually prefer to feed yourself rather then be held and fed.  This is my least favorite development of this month.
• You love to laugh.  And play downstairs on the floor. And put every freaking thing in your mouth.

All in all, Al, this has been a busy month for you.  You are a joy.  You are my easiest baby in so many ways, but my hardest in other ways.  You are developing a cute personality, and I can tell that you're going to fit in quite nicely with the other wackos babes.

These photo shoots get more and more difficult.  The kid won't sit still for more than a minute and once I give him the paper to hold, it's all over.
