Confession: I've never gone apple picking before. I had never even of heard of such a thing before I had kids. So, since I like to take the kids to different places, we decided to give apple picking a shot. Back when we went to Wild West City, we passed a farm in Chester, NJ, called Riamede Farms. It looked really cool, and Greg and I decided that would be the farm that we would go to...and on September 29, we did just that!
We made plans with my brothers and future-sisters in law, and some friends of my brother's and their 2 kids. We love this couple and have had a good time with them when we've been together. Here's to many more outings together!
I didn't bring the big camera, so all of these pics are from my Galaxy.

| I had grand intentions of getting a great pic of the 3 of them. The sun spoiled those intentions, however. |

Our first apple picking outing was a success. We picked...are you ready?...20 pounds of apples. What does one do with 20 pounds of apples? Well, one makes apple butter, apple crisp and apple sauce. So, it was a coo thing. I'm pretty sure we will try and do it every year now. I think it's cool that the kids and I experienced a 'first' together! Yay apple picking!!!
