I'm SO far behind. I haven't posted anything of substance for quite a while. I was going to try and go back and touch on everything that I've missed, but right now, I'm going to just start posting more recent things, and maybe touch on some older stuff later.
That said...
Friday, May 23rd, I took Jack to his very first baseball game! I come from a long line of baseball fans and I hope that Jack (and the other kids) will be one, too. We have a local baseball team, The Somerset Patriots. Their stadium is 10 minutes away and we pass it often. The tickets are cheap, there isn't a bad seat in the house and it's ALWAYS a good time.
It was a weird day, weather wise, but it turned out to be a beautiful night...well, at least for 7 innings. After that, the sky opened and it started to rain.
Jack seemed to like it. His attention span is not as long as a baseball game, so he was antsy and asked for every snack that he saw.
The Pats lost, but we had so much fun. I can't wait to go back!

Uncle Joe got Jack a foam finger. It's now proudly displayed in his room. Nice face, Uncle Dee.

'Mr. Grand Slam' himself, former Yankee, Shane Spencer. I kind of geeked out when I saw him. He's the 3rd base coach

He was cold, so Uncle Dee offered up his coat.
