Jack's Birthday

So, The Boy turned 10.  He didn't want a party, or a big to-do.  He just wanted to hang with his best friend Lucas and do something fun.  Sounds good to me!  So, we tossed around a few ideas and decided to take the crew to someplace that I grew up going to, Tara Greens Golf Center.  My kids have never mini-golfed before so I thought it would be a fun adventure.  So, after a gourmet dinner of Wendy's, (birthday boy's choice) we drive to Tara.  As soon as we go there, the heavens opened and it torrential downpoured.  Awesome.  Thankfully, it was a typical summer storm and didn't last long.  So, we golfed to our little hearts' content and The Boy had a great time.  Oh, and it's really safe to say that none of the children I was with have any sort of future in golf.  It's okay...I didn't do so hot, either.
