Something amazing

So, when Sara was born, I couldn't help but feel sorry for her.  Jack and Emma, being only 17 months apart,  grew together and are super close.  I was afraid that they wouldn't accept her.  Being "Jack and Emma" was all they knew, and we really treated them (and still do, actually) like a package deal.  So, imagine my surprise when Jack really took to Sara, and really turned into best buds.  No one makes Sara laugh like Jack does.  He is patient with her, and loves to play with her and talk to her.

I was curious what the dynamic would be when Alex got here.  Sara and Alex are 18 months apart, so I'm wondering if they will be the younger version of the "Jack and Emma" package deal.  While that remains to be seen, Alex's oldest sister has really fallen for him.  She's so amazing with him.  She's helpful, and thinks he's the "cutest thing ever" and really wants to be near him always.

I've seen such a change in Emma.  She was a pretty awesome kiddo to begin with, but now, now that her little mommy instinct has kicked in...well, it's pretty incredible to watch.

Thanks, Emma.  I've often wondered why I haven't sprouted more arms yet, but you are my other set of arms.  You're an incredible kid, and I hope you ALWAYS are aware of that fact.
