Daddy's Surprise

Greg and I have been together for a long time.  I can count on just a few fingers how many times he's been able to successfully surprise me.  I'm just too nosy and too observant to allow surprises to happen.  

Well, he got me good.   Woke up regular time, got ready for work, left to "go to work" (run errands) and came back home, telling us that it was going to be a beach day! I was so shocked and surprised.   Oh, and grateful because the kids and I love the beach, but it's not his favorite thing to do. So thanks for that,  Greggy. 

We got ready and were on our way to Point Pleasant.   Very fond are my memories of going to Point in the summer with my family, so it's nice to share that with the kids. 

We had a great time!  Thanks for the surprise, babe. It meant so much.

Jack found an epic piece of sea glass 

So it monsooned after we ate dinner,so we ducked into the arcade and played for a bit.  There was an awesome double rainbow.

The ride home was beautiful.
