To #3, on your first day of school

Oh, Sass.

I remember thinking that maybe preschool wasn't the best for you.  I remember thinking you'd be shy, and reserved and cry and not want me to leave.  I remember thinking that I would red-shirt you, and keep you back a year.

When I'm wrong, I admit that I'm wrong.  Boy, was I wrong.

Not a tear was shed, no screaming, no whimpering, no clinging on for dear life.  And that was just me.  Sara did well, too!

In all honesty, I couldn't have asked for a better drop off situation.

Sara, your enthusiasm and your excitedness was contagious and I couldn't help but be happy for you. You are just so ready for this!  I'm so proud of you, little one.  You rocked it and I'm couldn't be more happy.

I have wishes and hopes for you, Sass.  I hope that this is just the beginning of great school years.  I hope you make good friends and I hope you enjoy your days.  I hope you learn and laugh and have fun.  Your teacher seems to be the epitome of what I would wish for in a preschool teacher, so that makes me feel at ease.

You rocked it, my baby girl.  You completely rocked it.

I love you, Sassy Girl.

So excited to get ready for school!

The Sass is strong with this one
