Emma is now 7. I'm still getting used to the idea. She stayed home from school on her birthday, and she asked that her 'best friends' (Jack and Sara) stay home, as well. So, we got doughnuts and watched movies and just had a relaxing day. I did a some pictures of her and I can't get over how grown up she looks.

A few days later, she had her very first sleepover. She told me months ago that she wanted makeup, movies and her very dearest friends.
After pizza and cake, we got into the makeup. This part of the night didn't go quite as I expected. I had this lovely vision of the girls sitting nicely and doing makeovers on eachother, and maybe I would help. This did not happen, as the following pictures will illustrate.
