Happy Birthday, Sass!

Doing a little catching up.  Let's go back to June 10th, and Miss Sassy's birthday.

We didn't do anything too special on her birthday, since her party was going to be later in the month, but I couldn't let her day go unnoticed.

So, I decorated the kitchen.

And her door.  And the hallway in front of her door.

This is what she did when she woke up.  She was SO excited.  She kept yelling "Balloons! Mine? Balloons!!!"

Jack woke up right after she did, and presented her with birthday kisses...

...and hugs.

This pretty little lady was Mommy's helper, and helped make cupcakes!

She really did a great job!

So, you're two now, Sass.  You are sweet, and loving and very caring.  You make me laugh, and you make me want to pull my hair out.  You go from the second you wake up, to nap time, then you wake up and we start all over again.  You are a joy and a blessing, and I love you so much it hurts.  I hope you are always as lovely and complex and amazingly wonder as you are today, my Sass.  I'm looking forward to celebrating many, many, MANY more birthdays with you.  I hope you had a wonderful day, my love.
