Christmas, so far

We normally don't get our tree so early, but since there will be a lot going on as Christmas gets closer, we decided to get it December 9th.  Our normal spot wasn't selling trees this year (boo), so we went to another farm.  It was cold, and rainy and windy...a miserable day, at best.  But, that didn't stop us from searching for the perfect tree.  I do believe we found it, because the one that we picked is my favorite one so far.

We came home and began to "rig up the lights" and decorate this bad boy.

A few days later, when the rain finally stopped, the men of the household decorated the outside of the house.  Jack was looking forward to helping his Daddy out that he reminded us every day about doing the lights.  His smile was as bright as those lights when the day finally came!

I love my boys.

So, that's Christmas 2012, so far.  I will update as other things happen.  We are not sending out Christmas Cards this year (boo), but there will be a little photo shoot that I will share once it takes place.  I hope you all are enjoying the beginning of this magical season.  It truly is my favorite time of year.
