Thanksgiving 2012

As per usual, we headed up north to Greg's parents house.  Before we left, we took a couple of quick pics of the kids in front of the house.  It was a gorgeous day, so it was great to be able to get a good shot of their outfits, too.

Before I post the pictures, since we are talking about Thanksgiving, I wanted to share what I'm thankful for.

I'm thankful for my husband, without whom I'm not sure where I'd be in life.  Greg is my other half, he truly gets me (which isn't easy at times) and I just can't picture my life without him in it.  I barely remember life before him.  We've been through so much and through it all we remain strong.  I don't always say "I love you" when I should, and I don't always say "thank you" when I feel it's necessary, so, Greggy, thank you for everything you do, and I love you times infinity. Come What May.

I'm thankful for my new house!  It's amazing the progress that has been made already in making this "our own".  It's nice to finally have space.  It's nice to be able to tell the kids to go play outside in the backyard.  It's nice to have a place to finally grow old(er) in.

I'm thankful for my friends.  The friends that are still around after all these years.   I can count you on one hand, but I'm actually happy to have a few really awesome, great friends, as opposed to just a ton of acquaintances.  Thank you to those who stuck by me, to those who 'get' me, to those who listen.  I'm so grateful for you.

I'm thankful for my family.  My parents, who never cease to amaze me with their kindness and support.  My brothers who keep me sane at times (and make me insane the rest of the time), my cousins who I've grown to love, respect and admire more and more, my aunts and uncles, and grandparents who are all so special to me in their own way, my Lauren and my Domenica for being so great to my brothers (and to me and my kids).  I love you all, and I'm thankful for you.

I'm thankful for my internet friends.  My journal girls who I've known for so long.  It's so nice to not be judged and to have a place to vent.  Thanks, gals.

I'm thankful for my inlaws.  They are such an important part of our lives and I'm grateful for all they've done for us.

The big one is, I'm thankful for my babies.  My Jack who changed my life so incredibly in July of 2007.  My Emma who taught me that there is no limit to a mother's love.  My Sara who makes me melt on a daily basis.  I cant imagine a more perfect 3 children.  They are beautiful, smart, talented, amazing, thoughtful, sensitive little souls, and I can't imagine my life without them.  I'm thankful that I get to stay home with them (even though it isn't always easy) and enjoy their personalities and watch them grow and learn each and every single day.  I don't know where I'd be without them in my life, and for them, I'm SO SO SO SO thankful.

I hope you all had a terrific Thanksgiving and that you always remember what you are thankful for.
