Alex-5 months

So, the big guy turned 5 months on the 24th.  It just doesn't seem real or possible that he's already 5 months.  Especially when I can recall every detail of the day he was born, and the events leading up to it.

Here is what Al is up to these days:

• He's in size 4 diapers

• He's wearing 3-6 and 6-9 month clothes

• He rolls now!  Front to back came first, and back to front came yesterday, 5/30

• He has 2 teeth that are completely through and one that I can just see the tip of

• He takes 2 naps a day, one very long 3-4 hour long nap, and one 45 minute to an hour long nap

• He sleeps 11-12 hours every night, in his crib, which is not in my room.  This may or may not make me sad.  Well, the crib part makes me sad, not the sleeping 12 hours a night part. That is glorious.

• He eats 38-40 ounces of formula a day

• He HATED cereal, so we just skipped it and went to fruits and veggies.  So far his favorites are carrots and applesauce.  His least favorite?  Green beans.  It's okay, bud, I don't like them, either.

• He has TERRIBLE eczema.  Nothing that I've tried so far has worked, so I'm going to be calling a dermatologist.  He's incredibly itchy, and if I don't put mittens on him when he sleeps, he will scratch his face all night.  All of my kids had eczema, Emma's was pretty bad, but it's NOTHING compared to his.

• He is a Momma's boy, through and through.

• He loves to laugh.  

• He falls asleep in his high chair at least once a day.

• He does NOT like to be on his belly.  This makes "tummy time" tons of fun.  

• He blows raspberries, on purpose.  He also sucks on my face when I ask for a kiss.

I guess that's what he thought about my sign.  Sigh.

Okay, Buddy Boy.  You are such a bruiser, yet, you have the chillest, coolest, sweetest disposition.  I love you more than words can describe, my youngest and most precious (yes, that was a kids in the hall reference in the baby blog, so what).
