Mother's Day 2013

So, I didn't get many pics from Mother's Day.  Actually, I only got 4.  But I wanted to share them here, so the kids can see what we were up to that day.

So, my Mother's Day started the Friday before.  Lucky me!  Greg surprised me with beautiful diamond earrings.  He wanted to give them to me early so I could wear them on Sunday.

Jack made me a few things at school.  I LOVE stuff like this.  It always makes me cry.  It's kind of an awesome thing, actually.  To have my first-born, the reason that I'm celebrating this day to begin with, make homemade gifts.  It's such a joy, and he makes me so proud.  

He thinks I'm 13 pounds.  I love him.

The day before Mother's Day, we had a great visit up North with Greg's Mom.  It's hard to drive all over on the actual holiday, so we always try to make sure we get to spend quality time with both families...even if that means going the day before or the day after.

On Mother's Day, after Church, we went out to eat, along with the rest of Franklin Township.  The kids were crazed and it wasn't very relaxing at all.  We probably won't do that again on a holiday.  We ran some errands after that, and then headed over to my parent's house for  BBQ.    We got Mom and Dad a new grill for Mother's Day/ Father's Day, s Danny spent the day grilling away.

It's also THAT time of year again, time for FAT BOY WIFFLE BALL.  My brothers wanted to teach the kids how to play.  I got a few action shots...

Getting together with me family is always special, because we never do it.  So, it's nice to see everyone and catch up.

I hope all of you Mothers had a great day.  We earned it, and deserve it.  Special shout-out to my mother for teaching me so many important lessons in life, especially that Mother is only half of the word.  Love you Mom.
