Awesome Neighbors!!

We live in a pretty cool neighborhood.  There are a ton of kids, and the neighbors that we've met, so far, have been really awesome.  But, one particular night, it was a neighbor that we had never met, who gave us an incredible gift!

We were going for our post-dinner walk around the 'hood, and a lady runs out of her house and says to me, "You! You have kids, do you want some stuff?"  And with that, brings me into her backyard and shows me some older, yet still very usable kids toys.  She has 4 kids, as well, but they are older, so she was looking to offload some stuff.  OF COURSE we took it!  We had been wanting to buy a few more things for the kids to play with, but didn't have the money, so we were waiting.  It's a good thing we did!!

So, here is what the backyard looks like now...

The playhouse, the baby slide set and the turtle sandbox were all given to us by the "neighbor we never met before."
That ought to keep them occupied, don't you think?

 Thank you, Neighbor.  Thank you Neighborhood for being awesome!  I'm SO GLAD we moved here.  It took some time, and it's still rough at times, but we are really loving it here.  I'm so happy things worked out the way they did.  We are so lucky and so blessed.
