July 4th Celebration

Well, it was actually July 3rd.  This year, the annual township fireworks were July 3rd.  We always go to my Grandparents assisted living to have dinner with them, and to watch the fireworks with them, since it's right next to where the fireworks are set off.

This is the first year in a while that Greg has been able to come along.

The 50/50 Man, aka The 'Mayor' of Spring Hills, aka my Pop-Pop.

My Mom-Mom, the First Lady of Spring Hills.

led to this.  Emma being held by her Great Mom-Mom.  She spent the entire half hour like this.  Great Mom-Mom didn't mind.

Ooooh

Ahhhhhhh

As always, it was a great show.  Jack really liked it (Greg had taken The Littles home), he especially liked yelling "Ooooooh, Ahhhhhh".

On the actual 4th, we decided, very late in the day, that we were going to try and head down to Point Pleasant.  Apparently, the rest of NJ had the same idea.  There were people EVERYWHERE and NO PLACE TO PARK.  No spots what-so-ever.  Lesson learned.  So, we came home and had a last minute cookout with the D'Imperios.  It was nice!  Unplanned, and last minute, but totally awesome!!

Can't wait for next year!!
