Alex- 7 months

Really, Alex? 7 months? I'm getting really sick of this whole 'growing' thing. Clearly, I want you to be little FOREVER, so slow it down, okay?

Yes, 7 months already. It just doesn't seem possible. I feel that I start every update about you with those same words!

Lots of new developments this past month, so let's get into it:

I don't know how long you are, or how much you weigh. We won't have another appointment until 9 months. If I had to guess, you're probably 25 pounds by now. For comparison, your older sister, Sass, is 29 pounds. This makes me chuckle.

You still sleep like a champ. 11-12 hours a night, plus 2 naps during the day.

You are in size 6-9 month clothes, but I think we may be going up very soon.

You just moved up to size 6 diapers. Yup, size 6. You and Sara now share diapers.

LOTS of new sounds, Mamama, Dadadada, Babababa, Nananana. They don't mean anything quite yet, but it's just so cute to hear it.

You are currently rolling all over the floor, and trying to crawl.

You love being in your walker. You roll all over the house in it. You are quite the pro.

You LOVE your sister, Emma. You light up when you see her, and she can make you laugh the most.
You are down to 32-36 ounces of formula a day. A far cry from the 48 you were eating a couple of months ago! You love all sorts of foods, but bananas and zucchini are your favorite.

You have 3 teeth, and your 4th is about to break through. This causes more drooling than I have ever seen before in my life. You are like a little slug when you are on the floor, leaving a trail of drool behind you. It's hilarious.

You are definitely my happiest baby, only really getting upset when you are hungry or tired. You smile the rest of the time. I love this about you.

You are NOSY! You love to look outside and just watch what is going on. If something is out of your line of vision, you crane your neck and move until you find what you are looking for!

So, with that, I give you the 7 month pictures. These photoshoots are getting harder and harder, since you are all over the place now. I decided that since it was a nice day, we'd do your pictures outside. This made for a lot of squinty (but cute) pictures, in none of which are you actually looking at the damn camera. *sigh* Par for the course, I suppose.
